Fun Fact: I took a 4 hour college Astronomy class where the professor gave all the quizzes and tests online. He also took all of his quizzes and tests from some other website online so when me and my three buddies taking the class found this out we aced the class. 4 credit hour A. No sweat!

That's how I survived online school for several years.

An Ignorant FoolJAN 24 2012

Wait, so there's a solutions manual to every subject or just the sciences?

BelalJAN 24 2012

Well, science classes usually ask questions that need to be solved through a specific mathematical process - so they always have solutions manuals. I dunno about other classes - the answers are out there. Somewhere.

Not in any of my classes... but I was a Political Science/International Relations major. They generally asked super specific questions and required critical thinking. Darn liberal arts. I DID make an A in a "we cancelled the class you were supposed to have but won't offer it till a full year after your expected graduation date so here's a consolation prize" class by choosing my own research topic then googling the heck out of every scholarly article that researched it. Not plagiarism, because I only stole ideas for sources :) I'd read what quotes they used and figured the authors that got used the most and were the easiest to understand was were I should go. Some skimming and lots of BS later, the most beautiful and perfectly cited paper emerged, and I graduated on time.

senioritisJAN 24 2012

who does the actual homework when one can get by with the bare minimum?

BelalJAN 24 2012

Well spoken, sir. Well spoken.

At my school, for calculus, they put the solutions manuals as required so students can "check there own homework" since we don't turn it in. Are grades are based solely on 3 mid term tests and 1 final.

My math homework is online

BelalJAN 25 2012

I once had a lazy calc teacher that made our tests online – 10 multiple choice questions. You get one question wrong, you automatically dropped 10%

An Ignorant FoolJAN 25 2012

My Psych class was like that. If you got one question wrong, you wouldn't be allowed to take the next test, and no question repeated twice. I dropped it cuz I couldn't get past the first quiz.

BelalJAN 25 2012

Damn. Psych questions are meant to psych you out - you can never tell what the right answer is.
