Freshmen
I love going to events on campus and signing up for student organisations – guaranteed free t-shirts.
The other day I put on jeans for the first time in 6 years. They’re so heavy – I dont know how people do it. I’ll never give up my track pants.
Discussion (29) ¬
How do you not like jeans? seriously, they are the epic pants.
Are you telling me that you’d choose jeans over track pants? Track pants are epic, man. EPIC!
truth
Its what I do.
yeah i’m not gonna lie, last year was my freshman year and the first two weeks i tried so hard and after that i was like “sweats please!!”
Two weeks in and your already thinking like an upperclassmen. Nice.
I feel naked without my jeans.
Exactly.
I don’t own a single pair of jeans. Khakis all the way.
Death to all jeans.
I totally agree with death to all jeans…sweat pants and shorts are the only thing a College student should put on during their entire college career. Its all about being comfortable and not looking cool.
Being comfortable is the new cool.
I never wear jeans, athletic shorts all the way!! Although, my outlook on shorts/jeans may change seeing as I’m Rushing a fraternity 😀
Dont give up on shorts my friend. Never give up.
Shouldn’t it be “seamlessly”? Like a seam on clothes. Seemlessly does sound more logical though…too bad it’s not a word. XD
Damn it, Photoshop spellcheck sucks. Ill fix that in a bit.
I have been dressing like the freshman male this whole time
Haha, nothing wrong with that. I love my Official College Sweatpants.
It’s comfy. I am so happy they just came out with mesh sport shorts
I sort of flip flop between the two styles depending on the amount of sleep I have, If I have any important meetings, or if I plan on running that day.
Also you forgot to mention pajama pants, those also seamlessly transition from sleeping to class 😛
Don’t forget, track pants can count as pajamas! If I have an important meeting, I put on a pair of slacks. So much more comfortable.
Putting on pant – one less step in the morning.
Right on, bro.
My school has a dress code, so we don’t see this as much. Guys have to wear jeans or slacks and collared shirts, girls have to wear t-shirts/collared shirts, knee-length skirts, dresses, or slacks/jeans. Sweatpants and shorts are not allowed outside of the dorm and gym, and hats may not be worn in academic buildings.
I must say this rule doesn’t apply to an arts school like Columbia College Chicago. No matter what year you are. Everyone seems to dress like the freshman here.
I haven’t worn pants in the longest time. Not even khakis. I wear shorts, skirts, and dresses all the time.
Awwwh, the good old days. Let me tell you that after college (Which I am only 6 months removed from) You have to go back to wearing nice clothes again. Even for sucky retail jobs. But your closet still remains that of a college senior.
And they FROWN upon sweatpants and clothes with holes in them at a real job. Go figure. :-/
Also: Jeans FTW <3
yesterday was the first day i wore jeans in two months and today sweatpants…..
